JRM Racing LMP1

Drawing on its success of 2011, when it won the FIA GT1 World Championship for Drivers’, 2012 sees JRM Racing write another chapter in its colourful history. With renewed aspiration and a determination to achieve even greater things, it embarked on a brand new challenge by entering the prestigious FIA World Endurance Championship.

Armed with one of the most competitive LMP1 cars available, the Honda Performance Development ARX-03a, JRM Racing steps in at the top-level of sports car racing and challenges for overall honours in the Privateer Class. As well as acquiring a car that has the potential to win, JRM Racing has also recruited three equally capable drivers in David Brabham, Karun Chandhok and Peter Dumbreck.

And it’s not only the drivers that give JRM Racing its depth of experience. Sat on the pit wall is Team Manager and Chief Engineer Nigel Stepney who, before turning to sports cars three years ago, worked in Formula 1 for 30 years, and famously helped Michael Schumacher win his record-breaking seven world titles with Ferrari.

JRM Racing confirms participation in Blancpain Endurance Series

JRM Racing today lodged an entry to compete in the 2013 Blancpain Endurance Series. The British squad will use the Series to further enhance performance of the renowned Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 car, which it has developed in conjunction with NISMO (Nissan Motorsports International Co. Ltd) since 2011.

JRM Racing’s Le Mans success recognized by British Racing Mechanics Club

JRM Racing’s successful 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans campaign was recognized this weekend by the British Racing Mechanics Club. The club, which recognizes excellence in mechanical engineering and preparation of racing cars, awarded one of its prestigious trophies to JRM for crewing the highest-placed British entry in Le Mans last year during its annual dinner on 26 January.

JRM RACING CONFIRMS PLANS TO ENTER 2013 24 HOURS OF LE MANS

JRM Racing today confirmed its intention to enter the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans for the second consecutive year. After finishing its debut Le Mans campaign in sixth overall, the East Sussex-based squad plans to enter one Honda HPD ARX-03a to the blue riband event that will take place on 22-23 June 2013.
