JRM Racing Le Mans 24 Hours, Report after 16 Hours

JRM Racing sits in 7th overall with two thirds of the race run.

 

Karun Chandhok took over from David Brabham and completed 31 laps during the night. The Indian moved up three places, bringing the car back to the pits in 9th overall when he handed over to Peter at 04:45hrs.

 

Peter then put in a long stint as the sun came up, completing 42 laps. When he came off shift a little after 07:30hrs the Scot had put the team back into 7th overall, clear of the LM2 cars and three laps from 6th. David is now in the car.

 

Key points:

 

Karun starts his stint in 12th overall and gains two positions by lap 178

Karun stops on lap 179 and 191 for fuel only

Peter takes over on lap 200, with a refuel stop and tyre change being completed at the same time

Peter stopped for fuel on lap 210, 221, 232 and again on 243 – also changing driver and tyres on the last stop
