From the moment the Mitsubishi Evolution X was introduced, JRM embarked on a development programme that saw us invest our time and resources into a well-funded and competition-based programme, specifically to create the most competitive Group N Evo X's you can get.

It's a well-documented fact that the predecessor to the current generation homologated Lancer, the hugely successful Evolution IX, was up until now the best of a breed. However, it's hardly surprising when you consider that the initial chassis design has been in exis- tence since the turn of the millennium and has therefore been honed and developed in the fervour of competition throughout its lifespan.

Enter the Evolution X. A completely new car, from its three diamonds on the grille, to its three diamonds on the boot lid. And, with Mitsubishi reducing its direct motorsport involvement, it became the domain of the independent specialists to realise the car's enormous potential. JRM relished the opportunity and immediately embarked on a development programme to exploit the Evo X's engine, transmission and handling capabilities. This has seen JRM compete in a series of International events, including two full seasons in the British Rally Championship.

Its participation in the UK and on other significant events in Europe and Scandinavia has seen the team achieve outright wins on gravel, asphalt and snow, proving that the JRM Evos are the most competitive of their kind � on any surface.

If you want the ultimate Group N machine, then JRM can deliver. However, the company understands that not everyone wants a full- specification example and therefore, its bespoke build programmes ensure that every customer gets exactly what they want, right down to the last torque-tightened nut and bolt.

It's also possible to buy cars 'off the shelf'. In addition to building to specific customer requirements, JRM also offers new Evo X RS models together with a kit of parts, plus ready-to-go cars in National and International spec that could be lining up at the start of a stage within a matter of days.
