Fabrication Engineer

Main Purpose of Role

Suitably qualified you will assist with the production of race car components.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Ensure accurate fabrication of all components to engineering drawings.
  • Ensuring the highest quality is met at all times and reporting to a superior if any quality issues arise.
  • Adhere to health and safety and all other company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
  • Excellent time management.

Key Skills Requirements

  • Experience in motorsport fabrication, strong capabilities in TIG and MIG welding.
  • Experience in welding a variety of materials including Aluminium, 4130 steel and Stainless steel essential.
  • Must be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, as well as working freehand as required.
  • Knowledge of brake press, punches, hand tools and sheet metal work a must.
  • Machining, CNC tube bending and Roll cage manufacturing experience would be a distinct advantage.
