JRM’s new GT3 drivers continue to show class as they prepare for their step up
The JRM team are edging closer to their return to the track at Donington Park on 23rd and 24th September and the new drivers are showing no signs of complacency as Charlie Fagg storm up at Zandvoort’s GT4. Fagg, who celebrated his 18th birthday over his race-winning weekend, continues his podium-worthy performances
where he secured an impressive double win in the Netherlands.
As the JRM team continue to hone the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 ready for Fagg and Ben Green’s step-up, confidence continues to grow in the young drivers as they, yet again, prove to be a force to be reckoned with.
Jason King – Managing Director of JRM Group Ltd says “Our new drivers have got the whole team excited with their race-winning performances. Their aptitude and pace are really shining and we’re incredibly proud that our new team encompasses young, upcoming talent that can showcase our engineering and car after a long-awaited return. Charlie’s wins this weekend just reinforces the confidence we have in both him and Ben.”
The JRM young driving duo at 18 years and 19 years old are preparing for their GT3 debut with Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 simulator practice, testing and working with their race-day team. The exciting pairing should see the Nissan GTR continuing its historical success within GT racing.
Fagg commented, "To get two wins out of two races last weekend at Zandvoort was incredible and it made my birthday all the more special to get the first pole of my career - it was a fantastic experience. Race one didn't go to plan and when we pitted to change drivers, I came out P16 but chipped away at the times and finished P1 in the dying moments of the race. Race two went to plan and the success in GT4 is giving me the confidence to push on for Donington. I can't wait for the GT3 and plan to continue the momentum into British GT alongside Ben Green as part of Team JRM”.
With just one month to go before the team head to Donington Park, preparing the car as well as integrating the drivers to the team is key and JRM will be keeping racing fans up-to-date with progress across their social media channels.
